Yesterday the newspaper, referring to what appears to be yet another wrong-way driver incident on Interstate 25, said Highway 285S, which everyone in Eldorado drives on every single day, is "better known as Bobcat Crossing Road." Huh? Not correct, not from anything I can determine. There is a Bobcat Crossing overpass about three miles toward town that you can see from the interstate, but gee whiz. Does anyone at that newspaper ever check a fact? Please email me at pdl_749 at yahoo.com if you know something I don't about the history of 285S near the Clines Corner exit at the interstate.
