...But mostly it's just pretty interesting. For instance, our region of Santa Fe got 27 inches, with the interstate closed both north and south for two days. Two unusual phenomena: eerie snow fog that mimicked the effect of a total whiteout (impossible to capture in a photo) and, when digging, these areas of Blue Glow in the snow...the last photo in this series gives a sense of this although I cannot replicate the intense blueness. We are for the moment cut off from the rest of the world...but maybe that's not all bad. :)
