Mayor David Coss noted that this was the perfect Santa Fe event, as it involved an art auction, DOGS (everyone in SF seems to have at least one), the Lensic (our town's best theater; see other entries in this blog); and community service. By the time the student trainers handed the dogs over to their new owners, there weren't many dry eyes in the house.
