Not like Arnold's, though. Yesterday a rufous hummingbird entered our garage and couldn't get out. We pulled the van out to give him room to swoop; gently urged him toward the door; opened a window. No go.
The little guy started to tire. After a while he lurched out and flew hastily toward, we hope, a good source of nectar. What a great feeling as we watched him head in the direction of the Sandias through wide open, non-garagelike spaces. We watched him for quite a distance. Take care, little bird of grace. The drawing is from percevia.com, a decent bird-identification site.
