For the first time in three years, the 'Fire Danger' level has been downgraded to 'Moderate' from the usual 'Extreme', 'Very High,' or 'High.'

Snow pack and moisture have been alien concepts around here and we've developed a new appreciation for conserving water. So the decrease in DANGER is pretty exciting.

Did I just say the fire danger level is 'exciting'? Whew. Must. Need. Vacation.
