Zozobra (Spanish for 'anxiety') stands about 55 feet tall and Santa Feans call him Old Man Gloom. Brainchild of Will Shuster, the gargantuan marionette is rebuilt and torched each September for Festival de Santa Fe. My daughter asked me if the Statue of Liberty is bigger than Zozobra. Perspective. Maybe I need to take her back to my hometown for a refresher course.
